Woodsons Cycles, Castle Street

After more than seventy years on Castle Street, Woodsons Cycles is closing its doors.

Since the 1950s, Woodsons has been the place in Edgeley for a new bike, a proper service, a puncture sorted on the spot, or that one obscure part nobody else could lay their hands on.

Generations of local kids learned to ride on bikes bought there. A fair few of us are still riding them.

We're sorry to see Simon and Lee go, but they've more than earned their retirement. Thank you both for decades of honest, patient service and for being one of the shops that gave Castle Street its character.
