Stockport Council will shortly be going out to consultation with residents around Northgate Road to introduce a scheme to address parking and road safety issues. The plan includes the introduction of double yellow lines on one side of Northgate Road and junction protection with Posnett Road.

This is partly a result of residents and visitors to Springmount Mill not utilising the underground car park for cost reasons or otherwise.

The safety of pupils at Lark Hill Primary School is paramount to us.

Residents affected will receive a letter please indicate your views to whether you support this scheme or not.
