I've been out and spoken to Private Hire Taxis again this morning using King Street West as a makeshift taxi rank. All of them were on the phone to friends or family. To be fair when I made it clear the restrictions in place they moved on forthwith.

I would encourage residents to take note of the Licensing Authority and License Number and report accordingly if they spot it. We've made sure new time plates are up making it crystal clear this is a no waiting zone.
