Jess Meller
Jess has lived in Edgeley for many years and brings with her a strong track record of community involvement, campaigning on issues that matter most to local People.
As an active member of the ECA, Jess has led initiatives such as community clean-ups and supporting local traders. Her focus is on ensuring Edgeley has a strong voice in the Town Hall, championing fair investment in our high streets, parks and public services.
Jess’ campaign will focus on improving parking, supporting a diverse mix of businesses on Castle Street and ensuring regeneration projects like Town Centre West bring genuine benefits to local residents.
Cllr Leah Taylor, who is stepping down due to family commitments said,
As I prepare to step back from my role as councillor, I want to thank the community for their trust and support over the last 3 years. It has been a privilege to serve Edgeley. I’m delighted to welcome Jess Meller as the ECA candidate — she has the passion, energy and commitment our area needs.
Cllr Asa Caton said,
Leah has been with us since the beginning and as an ECA councillor has made a real and lasting difference for residents in Edgeley that she can be proud of. On behalf of both Councillor Wynne and myself, I want to thank her for her hard work.
You will see Jess around Edgeley and Cheadle Heath over the coming months and at ECA meetings. Please say hello!
